ARTIST IN THIS ISSUE:
The artwork of June Parker is featured in this issue of Cancer Control. Ms.
Parker has been captivated by the dramatic atmospheric effects created in the
Berkshires of Massachusetts by the changing seasons on the mountains, rivers,
meadows, woods, and early American architecture. Ms. Parker has received many
awards in national exhibitions and has taught workshops at the Norman Rockwell
Museum, the Becket Art Center, and her own studio. She is currently conducting
the “Exploring Pastel” workshop at Art School of the Berkshires,
IS183. More of her art can be seen at Gallery on the Green, Rt. 23 and Village
